In 2011 we officially opened the Foundations for Learning Centre – vision can be the difference. Our approach to vision therapy includes methods and management strategies to reduce the risk of vision problems interfering with the learning process.
Candidates for the Foundations for Learning Centre are students who are unexpectedly struggling to reach or maintain their academic potential.
Our Goal at the Foundations for Learning Centre is to:
- Diagnose learning-related vision problems
- Customize strategies for patients with learning-related vision problems
- Train to overcome visual impediments for lifelong visual-learning
- Educate health care professionals, parents, teachers about the nature of learning related vision problems and the availability of treatment.
